Dining room before stagingIn a slow real estate market like that of Drewvale, a suburb of Brisbane Australia, it’s really important to style a property to appeal to prospective buyers.

Staging Diva Graduate Hayley Harris of Essential Key Home Staging & Property Styling based in Queensland, AU knows how to unlock a property’s potential: to lead to a faster sale, without the huge price reductions that many sellers have been taking.

This property looked tired and cluttered until this home stager transformed it into a contemporary oasis as seen in the before and after shot of this dining room.

Home staging is all about romancing the home buyer, which is especially necessary in slow real estate markets.

The property sold in under a week just under the $399,000 asking price.

The vendors had 6 offers on the property even before the first Saturday open house and every question on that morning was “can we put in an offer?” says property styling expert Hayley Harris.

Thanks for the article Debra! It really was a true success story for all involved. The client was delighted, the agent was happy, I was happy and even the buyers were really excited. Warming for the soul in todays econmic climate. It also, yet again, proves how when sensible pricing and great presentation are married together how painless and easy selling your home can be. The clients moved on to their new and exciting home this week, delivery of furniture to moving out 5 1/2 weeks, think how much money such a quick turn around can save you, a lot more then how much it cost to stage this home!
