Welcoming a New Year, a New Decade and a New You?

Here we are on the last day of 2009 with only hours to go before ushering in a new decade. In only a few hours, people all over the world will be full of “cheer”, doing the infamous countdown to midnight and singing Auld Lang Syne while fireworks fill the sky.

Why does the whole world seem to stop and take the time to usher in the New Year? I believe that most of us see the new year as a chance to start fresh. A new year is like a clean slate. We take what we’ve learned in all of our previous years on this planet and hope to do better with that learning as we head into the next.

People everywhere right now are eating their “last piece” of chocolate cake, swearing they will lose those ten pounds…starting tomorrow. Gym membership sales will explode exponentially for the next few weeks as tobacco sales go down for awhile. Everyone looks at the new year as a new start and this being the beginning of a new decade…well it’s even a more meaningful time to make a life change.

Will 2010 be the year you finally follow your dream and reinvent yourself as a home stager?

The Season for Savings is still in effect until midnight tonight. If you visit the Staging Diva Store right now, you can save $200 on either the download or home study version of the Staging Diva Home Staging Business Training Program! Individual home staging courses are only $199 during the sale too!

Whether you’ve been at home with the kids since they were small and you’re finally ready to do something for yourself, or you’re tired of the career you have that does nothing more than suck the joy out of your days…you deserve to start this new decade off knowing you’ve taken the first step towards following your dream and brightening your future.

My very best to you and yours in 2010,

Debra Gould, The Staging Diva®
