One of the side benefits of having so many Staging Diva Graduates spread out all over the US and Canada, and now as far away as Australia, Wales and South Africa is that I’m learning lots of interesting facts and geography.
I have a staging project in Yorba Linda for a client who has just moved to Redding California and needs to sell his former home. Located in Orange County, about 40 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles, Yorba Linda homes range in price from the high $300,000s to over $1.5 million.
Yorba Linda for those who don’t know, is the birthplace of Richard Nixon, 37th president of the United States. That’s his family’s Arts and Crafts style home pictured above, built in 1912 by his father on the family’s citrus ranch. It now sits on the nine acre campus known as The Richard Nixon Library & Birthplace, which also includes the 52,000 square foot Nixon Library Museum.

Also note that if you don’t already have a website or a page on the Staging Diva Directory of Home Stagers, it will be tough to win this project. It’s hard to convince a client to hire you over the phone if they can’t see your portfolio.
The staging fee and other revenue that would come from this staging project would likely pay for the entire Staging Diva Training Program, a listing in the Staging Diva Directory, membership in the Staging Diva Network, and with profit to spare!
I will only refer house staging and interior redesign projects to Staging Diva Graduates.
